What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver (CNA/HHA/Companion) position at Senior Helpers - Huntsville?
Senior Helpers specializes in Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. It is our goal to keep clients safe and independent. We desire to keep our clients in the comforts of their homes while providing efficient care. We provide care wherever our clients are located including private residents, nursing homes, hospitals, and assisted living facilities.
This is a position in which the hours are not guaranteed. However there are opportunities to accept 40 hours a week.
Hours: Make your own schedule with respects to our requirements.(4 hour minimum on days you desired to work )
Locations: within 30 miles in the circumference of your home.
PRN positions are available. (PRN requirements include: 1 weekend a month, at least 20 hr a month, calling weekly for scheduling
Job Requirements:
-Valid Driver License
-Auto insurance
-Dependable vehicle
-Cell Phone
Availability requirement:
- Employees are able to make their own schedule selecting days and times they desire to work
- Every other weekend (Saturday /Sunday) is required at a minimum of 8 hours each day.
Job Duties:
-Provide personal care including bathing, dressing and incontinence care.
-Light house keeping
-Transporting clients/ running errands with or for the client.
-Preparing meals, Meal Prep
-Provide companionship and safety
