Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent driving record
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Effective communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability
The duties and responsibilities of a Senior Helpers companion Driver include:
- Planning the most efficient routes to ensure timely pickup and drop-off of passengers
- Following all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure the safety of all passengers
- Maintaining a clean and comfortable vehicle environment
- Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle
- Keeping accurate records of mileage and any passenger issues
- Communicating with passengers, their families, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Handling any passenger concerns or emergencies calmly and efficiently
Requirements
- Candidate must be 18 years or older to apply
- Candidate must have their own vehicle
- Candidate must have a valid driver license
- Candidate must have auto insurance
- Candidate must be willing to submit to a background check
