We are looking for caring people to help Seniors live their lives independently in their own homes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping
- Household management
- Walking assistance
- Eating assistance
- Errands
- Transportation using client's vehicle or your vehicle
- Meal planning and preparation
- Laundry and linen changing
- Bathing assistance
- Dressing assistance
- Toileting
- Medication reminders
- Monitor Alzheimer's & Dementia clients
- Assist client to and from bed
- Assist client throughout the day/ night
Qualifications
- 6 months previous experience (preferred, not required)- In Home Care or Facility Care
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.
- Ability to drive to get to work.
- Valid driver's license with no serious driving violations and current auto insurance.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations.
- Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers.
