Job Summary
Senior Helpers – Santa Monica, CA is seeking a qualified and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our esteemed team of healthcare providers with a part-time or full-time, remote based position. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a leading service provider for senior citizens in Santa Monica.
Compensation & Benefits
The position offers competitive pay of $19-23 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Pooled retirement plan & Accrual based paid time off (PTO).
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and compassionate patient care, assist with bathing, dressing, walking, and meal preparation
• Assist with non-medical care needs such as ADL's
• Utilizing skilled care plans and assessments to assure quality care is provided to meet the patient’s needs
• Implement and discuss one-on-one patient care activities with families
• Manage the client's emotional and physical needs by providing companionship care
• Providing medication reminders to client
• Performing light PT exercises with client for mobility
• Transportation to appointments and any errands
• Light housecleaning & laundry
Job Qualifications:
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain CNA certification
• Experience in recording vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure
• Hospice/Memory care facility experience is a plus
• Must pass background check requirements
• Experience with Ambulatory Equipment
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow with the company
• Exceptional organizational, communicating and interpersonal skills
