What Your Role Looks Like

As a caregiver, you’ll play a vital part in helping seniors stay safe, happy, and independent at home. Your daily tasks may include:

Personal Care Assistance

• Helping with bathing, grooming, and dressing to maintain dignity and hygiene.
• Providing safe mobility support, transfers, and fall prevention strategies.
• Offering toileting and incontinence care in a respectful manner.
• Assisting with meal preparation and dietary needs.
• Providing medication reminders to help maintain routines.

Companionship & Emotional Support

• Engaging clients in conversation, games, and hobbies they love.
• Encouraging light activities, such as walks or simple exercises.
• Offering a warm and reassuring presence to brighten their day.

Household Help & Errands

• Performing light housekeeping, such as laundry, tidying, and organizing.
• Providing transportation for appointments, shopping, and errands.
• Helping with grocery shopping and meal planning.

Safety & Wellness Monitoring

• Observing and reporting any changes in health or behavior.
• Assisting with the use of mobility aids such as walkers or canes.
• Promoting a safe and comfortable environment in the home.

What You Need to Get Started

We welcome caregivers from all backgrounds – whether you're experienced or new to the field. Requirements include:

Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent
No professional experience needed – we provide training (3 hours of hands-on training in our mock-home Center of Excellence as well as 7 hours of virtual training on conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia, more)
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
Pass background checks and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a caring heart
