We are growing our team of caregivers—we’re seeking experienced caregivers who want to spread joy to our clients. We are currently hiring for cases in Northern Westchester and Putnam.

Shift: All days and times; especially urgent need for daytime coverage, weekdays and weekends

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of professional elderly caregiving experience.
• PCA/HHA/CNA certification is a big plus!
• Caregivers must have a valid driver license and insured automobile
• A genuine desire to assist others and improve their quality of life
• A willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients
• A high level of reliability to be punctual and professional 
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Offer companionship and emotional support to our clients
• Transport and accompany clients to their appointments
• Assist with ADLs (e.g. transfers, bathing, feeding, dressing, toiletting)
• Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping and meal preparation
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Give medication reminders
• Collaborate with client's care team to provide client updates and health changes

A Day in the Life of a Caregiver

In the simplest terms, a caregiver is a person who provides care for another. When it comes to our team, caregivers play a vital role. Our caregivers are the driving force for positively improving the lives of seniors in our community. They make a direct impact in providing care to seniors who wish to age in the safety and comfort of their home instead of an assisted living facility, an independent living facility, a senior living community, or a nursing home. Every client will have different needs that they require assistance with, but we make sure to match our clients and caregivers together for the optimal fit.
