Develop and execute caregiver recruiting strategies (online postings, community outreach, job fairs) to ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates.Ensure that applicants have been adequately screened, and that orientation / hiring sessions are comprehensive, according to standards, and conducted for all new hires.Interviews and on-boards caregivers.Instructor for Senior GEM’s corporate training program, teaches all new hires as part of orientation.Collaborate with the Caregiver Mentor to identify training gaps and develop targeted curriculum to enhance caregiver skills.Overall management of the caregivers, including performance improvement, development, and implementation of caregiver training programs using corporate approved training systems.Act as a primary point of contact for caregivers regarding concerns, work environment issues, and conflict resolution.Collaborate with the Caregiver Mentor to conduct quality assurance supervisory visits on each caregiver, quarterly, to ensure care plans are being implemented correctly, policies and procedures are adhered to, and all job duties are performed in a manner that is satisfactory and meets the Senior Helpers brand expectations.Creates and manages morale-building recognition programs for the caregivers, such as Caregiver of the Month, acknowledgements of high-level performance, and training completions.Manages all caregiver call-outs, late arrivals, early departures; takes appropriate action based on the Occurrence Policy.Manages, coaches, motivates, and supports Caregiver Mentors, collaborating with the Caregiver Mentor to effectively drive down caregiver turnover.Qualifications :
Proven experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field; previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse caregiver workforce.In-depth knowledge of caregiver regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in care delivery.Demonstrated ability to create and deliver training programs, including virtual and in-person sessions.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in record-keeping and compliance.Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) for documentation and reporting.Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and escalate issues when necessary.About Senior Helpers of Polk County :
