The key criteria for success as a Lead Caregiver are reliability , responsiveness , and versatility . You should be comfortable stepping into a client's home without an introduction, assessing the care plan, and understanding intuitively what the client's needs will be. Lead Caregivers must be available for rotating weekends and evenings, if necessary. In addition to responding to shifts as they arise throughout the work day, the lead caregiver will be given some regularly scheduled hours during the week performing caregiver / client introductions and mentorship as part of the Care Support Team. You are an ambassador to Senior Helpers; professionalism and positivity are a must.
Job Duties :
- Perform ADL's and IADL's for clients when their are open shifts and when new clients start services until their routine caregiver is established
- Perform caregiver / client introductions
- Provide mentorship to new caregivers in the field
