What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staffing Coordinator - Home Care position at Senior Home Health Care?
JOB SUMMARY: We have an opening for a Staffing Coordinator at our main office in Bloomington. This is a FT Monday-Friday position and is responsible for coordinating and maintaining scheduling for Senior Home Health Care clients and CNA/home making staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior scheduling experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program.
- Basic medical terminology.
- Experience as a CNA, HHA or PCA preferred.
- Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates and maintains staff schedules.
- Conducts new employee HHA orientation/charting training
- Reviews & submits bi-weekly CNA payroll
- Coordinates/conducts quarterly HHA staff in-service/meetings.
- Provides oversight of HHA's.
- Audits missed visits
- Schedules client appointments/visits according to care plans and staff availability.
- Ensure staffing, training, compliance reporting and quality assurance requirements are met.
- Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.
- Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans.
- Helps maintains staff and client database (e.g. Devero, dates and reminders of TB, client admission, client hospital admission and discharge).
- Helps maintains staff and client statistics, and reports.
- Maintains call – in and retention report.
- Performs general office duties

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
