Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. Duties
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Support clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Assist with medication reminders and adherence as instructed by healthcare providers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care, group home settings, or memory care is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility challenges.
- Familiarity with patient observation techniques to monitor health status effectively.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
