Position Overview: We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Elkview, WV at our closed-door pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician at SeniorLife Pharmacy, you will be responsible for transferring patients’ prescriptions to our mail-order pharmacy. By using Liberty Software...
Responsibilities:
- Proficient with machinery and technology
- Maintain the Parata Pass Machinery during daily operations.
- Communicate among individuals, including patients, co-workers, etc.
- Work on a team to fulfill prescription orders from transfer to fulfillment with an in-depth understanding of each workstation
- Utilize Liberty Software
- Understand and follow applicable Federal and State laws (e.g., HIPAA), regulations (e.g., OSHA), professional standards, and ethical principles.
- Physical Demands: Standing / walking for an extended period of time. Near vision; ability to see details at close range to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician (5 year minimum, required)
- National Certification from an accredited pharmacy technician certification program approved by specific state regulations (e.g. PTCB, ExCPT, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Familiarity with Liberty Software (preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalent.
