Nursing Home Administrator/Executive Director - Multi-level Community
Full-time position at Gorham House, guided by the values of Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect & Teamwork.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality hospitality and resident satisfaction.
- Serve as on-site executive for all operations, communicating with staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, government agencies, and the public.
- Maintain resident retention by addressing issues and working with residents and their families.
- Respond to walk-ins, phone-ins, and mail-ins in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Ensure budget accountability and cash flow management.
- Hire, train, discipline, and terminate employees according to Senior Lifestyle Corporate policy.
- Maintain local, state, and federal licenses for the community.
- Promote and protect resident rights, assisting residents in making informed decisions with dignity and respect.
- Represent the community in local, state, and professional organizations.
Requirements:
- Active NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR license for the State of Maine.
- 3 years of sales and marketing or business management experience, preferably in the Senior Housing Industry.
- Strong ability to communicate and listen professionally to residents, guests, and coworkers.
- Excellent management skills and a willingness to work harmoniously with staff members.
- Strong financial acumen and CCRC management background.
