What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Caregiver - Saturday and Sunday position at Senior Living Community?
We are hiring a Caregiver to join our team! MUST have 6 months experience in an Assisted Living and/or Memory Care Facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing our Residents with assistance in their Activities of Daily Living and personal care with kindness, patience and respect
- Assist in transferring Residents
- Monitor and assist Residents during meals
- Excellent documentation is a must! Must complete all documentation required during shift.
- Responsible for the proper care, use and storage of supplies and equipment
- Work closely with other departments such as Activities and Culinary
- Answer department telephone and record messages, as needed
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Have empathy, kindness, and the heart to work with the senior community especially those who may require a little more assistance
- Ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with residents, staff, families, visitors, and volunteers
- Must be vigilant about the safety of our Residents.
- Ability to understand and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Able to work independently and enjoys being part of a team.
JOB SPECIFICATION: Part-time
Saturday and Sunday
Must be available 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
