Senior Living Facility -

Director of Memory Care Job Summary :

  • Responsible for the coordination of all programming and staffing aspects of the Memory Care Program at the community while adhering to state policies governing dementia resident care
  • Supports the Director of Health and Wellness in the creation and presentation of the quarterly wellness plans
  • Assisting the residents and their families in maintaining the physical and emotional health of the individual
  • Coordinates all aspects of life for Memory Care residents including evaluation of residents upon admission and development of personal plan or program
  • Responsible for departmental schedule and ensures adequate staffing in accordance with company standards, policies, procedures, budgets and state laws
  • Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care

Qualifications :

  • Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Minimum of three years experience in a senior living care setting
  • Available to work a flexible schedule
  • Knowledge of Dementia care is required
  • Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents
  • CPR certification
