Job Responsibilities
- Prepares and cook resident meals following the requirements of planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portion, and temperature control procedures and facility policies under the direction of the Sous Chef and Registered Dietitian.
- Cleans work area and equipment in accordance with sanitation requirements.
- Consistently prepares meals on time so that serving schedules are met.
- Serves food according to dietary guidelines, checking each tray for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility records/information.
- Experience in preparing foods in large quantities.
- Organized and detailed in work performance.
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience.
