Position: Groundskeeper Shift: 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday Starting Pay: $19-$22 based on levels of Experience

Qualifications
- Nursery, gardening and landscaping background preferred.
- One-year experience in plant and/or residential maintenance preferred.
- High-School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to pass our Pre-Hire process, including (but not limited to) passing a background screening, drug screen, fingerprints, a physical, and reference checks.

- Ensure that the grounds are well groomed and free of trash, debris and hazards.
- Responsible for daily maintenance and upkeep of seasonal gardens.
- Monitor walkways to keep them clean and clear of potential hazards.
- Trims, prunes and shapes various trees, bushes, shrubs and plants, as directed by supervisor.
- Responsible for snow removal efforts, ensuring walkways and parking lots are shoveled, salted, and/or sanded as needed to keep residents, visitors, and staff safe.
- Maintains outside faucets, water features, irrigation systems, two wells, parking lot/garage/walkway lighting, concrete curbing/walkways, street markings, outside signage, fire road, flags, clearing/detention pond behind buildings.
- Keeps outdoor vehicles (tractors, mowers, snow blowers, etc.) and equipment in good working order.
- Traffic control during events.
- Monitor parking lot for proper parking for residents, staff, contractors, and visitors.
