- Cleans and services rooms, bathrooms, and/or offices.
- Sweeps and cleans terraces, storage areas, halls, and stairways as assigned.
- Cleans, mops, washes, or vacuums floors.
- Dusts furniture, equipment, coving, or kick-plates as assigned.
- May be required to periodically wax and buff floors.
- Empties waste receptacles, spot-cleans walls, cleans window sills, or cleans and refills sand jars.
- Polishes brass.
- Cleans and polishes glass panels in doors and partitions.
- Collects all trash and garbage and disposes of it properly.
- Washes walls and windows as assigned.
- Cleans and washes fountains daily, cleans lighting fixtures, tops of window and door frames, and other high areas.
- Refills dispensers: soap, toilet tissues, towels, etc.
- May assist in moving furniture, equipment, and supplies.
- Reports conditions in need of maintenance or special attention to the supervisor.
- Reports unusual findings in residents' rooms, bathrooms, or other areas that might indicate health or safety problems.
- Assists in set-ups for events.
- Must have a neat personal appearance.
- Must be able to take orders and follow directions.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must be able to communicate with the residents.
- Attends in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum grade school education.
- Must be comfortable working with COVID-positive patients.
- flu vaccinated per CDC guidelines and Masonic Village policy.
