What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at Senior Living Residences?

- Handle service maintenance calls from residents in a timely manner
- Assist with general daily housekeeping and heavy duty cleaning, assuring that the entire community is kept clean on a consistent basis.
- Preform ongoing and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assist with apartment turnover, moving furniture in and out of apartments.
- Handle snow removal and salt on walkways, sidewalks and entryways, as well as clearing residents vehicles during snowstorms.
- Physical requirements: Standing, lifting (up to 30 pounds), bending
- Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
- Be on time and reliable – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our team to be reliable at all times.
