The SLR Recruitment Coordinator connects individuals to their perfect career choice at one of our assisted living companies throughout New England. The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for managing job postings, pre-screening candidates and referring applicants for positions throughout the company. They must possess considerable skill in screening resumes and interview techniques, and be proficient in personnel policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
- Conduct phone interviews to pre-screen applicants for a variety of front line roles across SLR communities
- Coordinate with Hiring Managers to schedule finalists for on-site interviews
- Manage job postings on SLR's Applicant Tracking System and all relevant job boards and social media platforms
- In coordination with communities, manage background check process, occupational health, and reference checks for all newly hired associates
- Serve as a liaison with all applicants, remaining in frequent and professional communication
- Strategically partner with the Recruitment Team and communities on hard-to-fill positions
- Assist with administrative needs for all on-boarding of newly hired associates

- Minimum of one (1) year recruitment or related experience
- Ability to take direction and initiative, will work independently with guidance
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; excellent planning and persistent follow‐through skills
- Strong communication, engaging phone presence, and an ability to meaningfully create relationships
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and train others on new technologies such as G Suite Apps, Microsoft Suite, ATS and HRIS systems and social media platforms
- Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas to improve operational functions and processes
- Excellent oral and written communication, strong presentation skills
