We are seeking a skilled and certified Tier 1, 2 & 3 Fire System Inspectors to join our team and oversee fire safety compliance across a large network of senior living communities in North Carolina. This role requires a highly experienced inspector with a deep knowledge of fire safety systems and the ability to conduct complex inspections and assessments to ensure the safety and security of our facilities and residents.
As our Tier 3 Fire System Inspector, you will play a key role in protecting our communities, ensuring fire safety standards are met, and adhering to all state and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire systems, including alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and other fire protection equipment across multiple senior living facilities.
- Identify and report any system deficiencies, compliance issues, or maintenance needs and provide recommendations for correction.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on complex fire systems, identifying and addressing both minor and major issues.
- Collaborate with facility managers and maintenance staff to ensure fire systems remain fully operational and meet regulatory standards.
- Document inspection findings, maintain detailed records, and prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Stay current on North Carolina fire safety codes, industry best practices, and emerging technologies related to fire protection systems.
Qualifications:
- Tier 1, 2 or 3 Fire System Inspector certification, valid in North Carolina.
- 5 years of experience in fire system inspection, preferably in healthcare or senior living environments.
- Thorough knowledge of fire safety standards, NFPA codes, and state and local regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to travel to various facilities as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety and compliance.
