What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Maintenance Manager position at Senior Living?
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures quality work is being performed in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Reviews all work to completed by maintenance managers to ensure quality.
- Determines best outcome for the company by diligently and critically trouble shooting, reviewing work orders and ensuring they are handled by their teams timely.
- Works directly with RDO and ED to create routine reports, work order reviews and general maintenance support to the operations team.
- Responsible for QA and relationship oversight for routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, landscaping, pest control and other physical plant related contracts and check lists.
- Validates warranty guidelines and requirements prior to any work being performed so as not to violate any existing warranties.
- Communicates effectively with the DMD prior to any third-party vendors beginning work at a community.
- Travels regularly to assess, monitor and measure technical execution of Maintenance Technicians within assigned area.
- Inspects and validates all preventive and corrective maintenance work is occurring during site inspections on buildings and all associated building systems.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Two to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical Associate degree preferred.
- Custodian or property management experience preferred.
- State licensure in one of the following areas preferred (Electrical, General Contractor, HVAC, Plumbing)
- OSHA 10 hour certification preferred.
