Senior Metal Bellows continues to refine and develop welded metal bellows technology and the integration of welded metal bellows into critical aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, and industrial applications. What is the Position?
Under general supervision this position is responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods. Checks goods against shipping documents, determines packaging requirements, and packs goods for shipment. Prepares and maintains necessary documentation and files.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Work from specifications/certification documents, shipping lists, delivery by parts number list, required to prepare air waybills and bills of landing.
- Maintain appropriations certification/authorizations.
- Prepare parts and/or materials to ensure safe handling for shipment in compliance with relevant customer and/or company specifications.
- Interpret shipping instructions as referenced on customer or company documents, government specifications or standards related to packaging.
- Input all relevant shipping information into the computer.
- Contact shipping companies, truckers and freight forwarders to arrange for pick-ups
- Receive materials and product in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
- Process age-sensitive and special storage items in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Operate various hand and power operated tools including, hand truck and hydraulic jack.
- Operate forklift and maintain operator training certifications.
What Education and Qualifications are needed for the job?
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1- 3 years' experience in related field
