Job Title: Speech Therapist (ST) - Per Diem
Locations: (East Pasco, Tampa, Pinellas County, Pasco County)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist (ST) for a per diem home health position. The ideal candidate will provide speech and language therapy to patients in their homes, helping them regain communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while ensuring compliance with Medicare home care standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function.

Provide therapy and training to patients and caregivers to enhance speech and language abilities.

Educate patients and families on exercises, techniques, and adaptive communication methods.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare guidelines.

Travel between assigned locations to provide in-home therapy services.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Experience in home health, rehabilitation, or medical speech therapy preferred.

Strong communication, assessment, and treatment planning skills.

Reliable transportation for travel between patient homes.
