Capital Markets Data Analyst
Hybrid – Charlotte, NC
12-month Contract (W2), Weekly Pay (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $54/hr.

Calculated Hire is in search of a Capital Markets Data Analyst for our Fortune 100 Financial Services company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data analysis, financial markets, and a passion for regulatory compliance and risk analytics. You will support key stakeholders across risk, compliance, and trading functions by delivering actionable insights derived from large and complex datasets.
You will be responsible for the following components:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL to support reporting and decision-making processes across capital markets teams.
- Support the development and enhancement of regulatory reporting ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with risk and trading teams to understand market and counterparty risk exposures and support risk measurement and reporting.
- Manage issue tracking, task assignments, and project documentation through JIRA.
- Design and implement dashboards and data visualizations to communicate trends, insights, and anomalies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal IT, compliance, and business teams to ensure data governance and data quality initiatives are upheld.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Hands-on experience using JIRA or other issue/project tracking tools.
- Solid understanding of capital markets products (e.g., derivatives, fixed income, equities) and associated regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Familiarity with market risk and counterparty credit risk concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
