Job Description
You will perform day-to-day activities that ensure the cleanliness of the Community. Our residents truly appreciate your hard work; helping our senior residents is a fulfilling and rewarding job!
Essential Duties:
- Maintains a professional appearance, manner, and approach while on duty
- Works in a manner that promotes a safe and sanitary environment for staff, residents and visitors; makes efforts to reduce safety hazards, accidents, and injuries
- Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills
- Empties wastebaskets
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area
- Replenishes bathroom supplies, replaces light bulbs
- Assists housekeeping staff with heavy cleaning or moving of items
- Assists in setting up rooms for special events. Helps clean up such areas after events are concluded
