JOB SUMMARY:
This position involves working as part of a crew to perform weatherization services such as air sealing, insulation, window and door repair or replacement, and minor home repairs. This role supports low-income households and is part of broader efforts to reduce energy costs and promote environmental sustainability as well as performing a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations across worksites and facility. Duties may include loading and unloading materials, cleaning and preparing job sites, operating basic tools and machinery, and assisting skilled tradespeople. The role requires physical stamina, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Willingness to work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and varied weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, crawling, climbing ladders, and working in tight or elevated areas.
- Tolerance for dusty, dirty, or occasionally extreme temperature environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform on-site weatherization tasks such as air sealing, insulation (attic, wall, floor), caulking, weather-stripping, and basic repairs.
· Responsible for all General Labor tasks such as but not limited to belly patching, duct sealing, installation blowing, air sealing and loading and unloading material.
· Being okay with confined spaces, ladders, and face PPE such as (respirators) for extended periods of time.
· Safely operate hand and power tools, insulation blowing machines, and other equipment.
· Follow work orders and specifications provided by energy auditors or supervisors.
· Ensure job site cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times.
· Communicate respectfully with homeowners or tenants during service visits.
· Complete required documentation, such as daily logs or installation records.
· Comply with all safety standards, program guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
· Provide homeowners with information and/or devices to promote energy efficiency updates.
· Using Field Pulse software for job assignments, recording time on job, and updating status of jobs assigned.
· Active participation in department and company meetings.
· Actively participating in any projects that develop from SSP relationship as a Program Ally with Ameren.
· Smart phone/ device to be able to use company software.
· Other duties may be assigned to meet company needs.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
