Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee and manage daily operations of the Memory Care program, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise Memory Care staff, ensuring they are well-trained in person-centered care and dementia-specific techniques.
- Family Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for families, providing education, support, and regular communication regarding their loved ones’ care.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs, continuously seeking to improve the quality of life for residents.
- Staff Development: Provide ongoing education and training to staff in dementia care and memory support best practices.
- Compliance: Ensure the community complies with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in memory care or senior living management, with a deep understanding of Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Certifications: Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or similar certification is a plus, LPN License is a plus.
