Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Chicago, United States. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, coordinating maintenance activities, and providing exceptional service to our clients and staff.
- Coordinate and oversee daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility upgrades
- Manage work order systems, prioritizing and assigning tasks to maintenance staff or contractors
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues proactively
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Collaborate with various departments to address maintenance needs and minimize disruptions to operations
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate necessary actions
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures
- Assist in developing and managing maintenance budgets
- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and facilities
