Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specific cleaning protocols.
This is a PRN (as needed) position.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and floor care to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are fresh and properly stored.
- Manage custodial tasks in both residential and commercial settings, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and preferences during cleaning tasks.
- Assist with cooking or meal preparation when required, ensuring kitchen cleanliness is maintained.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain an organized supply closet and inventory of cleaning supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices and health regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards housekeeping management tasks is desirable.
