Who is Senior Aerospace AMT/Damar?

We are a manufacturer of structural parts for the leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) in the large business and regional jet markets. Our experience and capabilities span multiple segments of an aircraft, including the engine pylon, struts, wing box, wings, wheel well, and the interior. Our success is based on utilizing proprietary manufacturing techniques to manufacture high quality complex parts through cost effective production.

What does the job involve?

The primary function of this position is to provide support for all human resource functions including training, recruiting, visitor management and all other aspects related to the department as needed. The HR Generalist 1 must have a desire to support the company while attending to the needs of each individual employee in a positive and outgoing manner. The position requires frequent communication with all levels including management at Senior Operations. This role will be physically located at our Monroe facility but will provide support to both our Monroe and Arlington locations.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Process training records and complete data entry for license/cert/trainings in personnel files, SyteLine, and LMS
  • Create badges for vendors/contractors/employees/license & certs and order supplies for the badge system as needed
  • Assist with base level benefit questions (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc.). Direct employees to brochures, websites and other benefit materials
  • Serve as Employee Transportation Coordinator for Commute Trip Reduction program
  • Employment verifications
  • Post various fliers around the facility as needed
  • Complete data entry for performance reviews
  • Focal point for employee morale events as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and information
  • Get mail daily in B100, distribute as needed and process returned HR related mail as needed
  • Maintain B100 lobby by stocking coffee/water and ensuring lobby guard is running properly
  • Greet walk-in’s at B100 lobby and assist with check-in as needed
  • Other projects as assigned

What qualifications should I have?

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two plus years experience in human resources or related field
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook experience, PowerPoint preferred

Due to this position being in the aerospace industry, pre-employment drug screening will include testing for marijuana.
