Position: Experienced Caregiver
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Service Areas: Mishawaka and South Bend
Shifts: All Shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
• Prepare and cook meals
• Provide medication reminders
• Aid with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Support mobility and walking
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Provide transportation and assist with errands as needed

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Auto insurance
• Pass a drug screening and national background check
• Current TB test
• Experience in caregiving techniques, home care, and elder care
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to connect with older adults and individuals with disabilities
• Ability to offer both physical and emotional support
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Experienced Caregivers who bring both professional and personal caregiving skills
• Consistent availability to work various shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, 8 AM - 8 PM 12-hour shifts, and weekends (this is not a PRN position)
• Dementia experience preferred
