Position: Caregiver
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Service Areas: Elkhart Service Area (20 mile radius)
Shifts: All Shifts

Are you passionate about helping others? Whether you have experience or are new to caregiving, we want to hear from you! Senior1Care is looking for compassionate caregivers who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. If you're enthusiastic about this line of work and have at least 6 months of caregiving experience (or none at all!), we encourage you to apply. Consistent availability is key, but we understand the importance of flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
• Prepare and cook meals
• Provide medication reminders
• Aid with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Support mobility and walking
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Provide transportation and assist with errands as needed

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Auto insurance
• Pass a drug screening and national background check
• Current TB test
• Experience in caregiving techniques, home care, and elder care (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to connect with older adults and individuals with disabilities
• Ability to offer both physical and emotional support
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Reliable availability is essential, as we do not offer PRN (as-needed) shifts

Experience:

• caregving: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Elkhart, IN 46516: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
