Position: Caregiver
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Service Areas: Steuben County Area
Shifts: All Shifts

Senior1Care is looking for compassionate caregivers who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. If you're enthusiastic about this line of work and have at least 6 months of caregiving experience (or none at all!), we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
• Prepare and cook meals
• Provide medication reminders
• Aid with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Support mobility and walking
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Provide transportation and assist with errands as needed

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Auto insurance
• Pass a drug screening and national background check
• Pass a TB test
• Experience in caregiving techniques, home care, and elder care (preferred but not required)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine ability to connect with older adults and individuals with disabilities
• Ability to offer both physical and emotional support
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Reliable availability is essential, as we do not offer PRN (as-needed) shifts
