Your Role: As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with Seniority Healthcare, you will play a vital role in the mental health and well-being of seniors residing in senior living communities. You will:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring safe and effective use.
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers, therapists, BHCMs, families, and facility staff to provide holistic care.
- Engage in regular case consultations and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Educate residents, families, and staff about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay informed about best practices in geriatric psychiatry.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Experience or strong interest in working with geriatric populations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to travel to senior living communities in the designated region(s).
- Current PA state licensure.
- Willingness to become licensed in additional states (or current NJ, NY, DE state licensure)
