Seniors Helping Seniors® - Brunswick Shores (“SHS Brunswick Shores”) in-home care services offer support for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of home. We’re looking to add to our team of caregivers and are searching for mature and compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the community.

At SHS Brunswick Shores, caregivers who provide Companion and Homemaker services are an integral part of our overall service portfolio. Companion and Homemakers provide companionship as well as help with daily tasks such as light house cleaning, yardwork, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events.

What do we look for in a Companion and Homemaker?

Our senior Companion and Homemakers need to have a passion for helping seniors continue to live independently and a willingness to be trained to provide quality care.

Our Companion and Homemakers should encompass the following traits:

· Ability to relate to the aging process

· Find enjoyment helping other seniors navigate challenges that growing older can bring

· Compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the senior community

· Willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies to build relationships

All team members must meet minimum role requirements and successfully complete the pre-employment process, including but not limited to a drug screen and background check (including MVR for those engaged in transport) prior to employment.
