Home Health Aide

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while fostering a positive and respectful environment.

Pay: $16.98 - $17.81 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

• Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.

• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.

• Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in condition or behavior.

• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.

• Support clients with mobility assistance, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or assisting with walking.

• Implement care plans as established by healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to medical guidelines.

• Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

• Provide hospice care support when necessary, ensuring comfort during end-of-life care.

Skills

• Experience in senior care or home health settings is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and record systems is advantageous.

• Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in client health status.

• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding.

• Knowledge of long-term care practices and hospice care principles is beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients, families, and healthcare teams.

• Cooking skills to prepare healthy meals that meet client preferences and dietary restrictions.
