About the Role
This is a part-time position that requires the caregiver to work approximately 6 – 20 hours per week, with no nights and weekends as needed.
The caregiver will be responsible for providing essential support and assistance to an individual with mild dementia/Alzheimer's in their own home, including engaging in fun activities, administering medications, assisting with meal planning and preparation, performing light housekeeping tasks, providing companionship and emotional support, and monitoring any changes in the individual's condition or behavior.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving for Alzheimer's/Dementia
- Strong ability to engage in fun activities
- Ability to administer medications
