Job Summary
SeniorsHelpingSeniors - Somerset is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated registered nurse to work part-time or per diem hours as a field nurse supervisor. Our mission is to provide high-quality care and companionship for our seniors in the comfort of their homes.
RN needs to be holding a current license in NJ and will have the unique opportunity to be part of the entire process of opening a Health Care Service Firm. RN will be listed as part of the application with NJ Division of Consumer Affairs (https://rgbportal.dca.njoag.gov/) and will continue to provide services as a field nurse after the Firm’s license approval process. Field nurse duties primarily include home visits to private home care clients as part of the client’s assessment and some additional duties such as providing guidance to clients family & caregivers as needed.

Immediate need is for the RN to be listed on the NJ application and the filed nurse duties will begin after the approval process around May 2025.

Duties
- Home visits to private home care clients as part of the initial client’s assessment
- Educate patients and their families on health management
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in NJ.
- Previous experience in home health or a related healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient cases effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between patient homes.
