What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator (Full Time Position) position at Seniors Home Care?

An ideal candidate will be positive, highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and think on their feet in a fast-paced and rewarding position. Candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to work through challenges as a team. Accountability for the position and awareness to know when to take a break or practice self-care is important when working as a scheduling coordinator.
Primary duties include:
- Coordinating schedules for in-home caregivers - focusing on caregiver's attributes.
- Communicating frequently with caregivers, clients and families regarding care schedules
- Ensure scheduled shifts are correct and complete.
- Prioritize effective communication and team collaboration
- Continuously monitor and evaluate individual and scheduling departments' effectiveness
- Participate in after-hours phone rotation to support clients and employees
Requirements
- Ability to effectively work in scheduling software and computer programs.
- Ability to troubleshoot scheduling issues and find resolutions
- Ability to multi-task and goal-oriented
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and team-minded
- Thrive under pressure
- Compassionate and understanding
- Previous scheduling experience preferred.
- College degree preferred
Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8am to 4pm
- On call rotation
