Resident Care Coordinator

Job Summary :

The Resident Care Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for

residents by effectively managing staff schedules, overseeing resident well-being, and supporting

the care team. This position requires exceptional organizational and communication skills to

maintain efficient operations and promote a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Staff Management and Scheduling :

Manage staff schedules to address call-offs and ongoing scheduling needs throughout the

week.

Monitor and adjust schedules to meet staffing requirements, ensuring adequate coverage.

Communicate schedule changes to staff promptly and effectively.

Resident Care Oversight :

Conduct weekly check-ins with residents to monitor their well-being and satisfaction.

Review incident reports daily, addressing concerns and implementing solutions as

needed.

Collaboration and Support :

Assist and support the Med Manager and Director of Nursing with daily tasks and special

projects.

Conduct weekly training sessions or shadowing opportunities for aides to ensure high-

quality care and adherence to best practices.

Perform weekly employee check-ins to foster communication and address any concerns

or needs.

Administrative Tasks :

Perform regular charting audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Order and maintain necessary supplies to support resident care operations.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in an assisted living, healthcare, or similar setting (preferred).

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with residents,

staff, and management.

Proficiency in scheduling systems and documentation software (preferred).

A compassionate and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility as required.

May involve occasional lifting or transferring of residents or equipment.
