We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our Wilmington, NC facility.
Objective: Modify, design and nest CAD/CAM part files for our custom hollow metal products, as well as production support for quality assurance.

Overview
We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our Wilmington, NC facility.
Objective: Modify, design and nest CAD/CAM part files for our custom hollow metal products, as well as production support for quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of products and applications to conform to customer specifications
- Manage the flow of information and documents to create comprehensive work orders and reports
- Utilize CAD/CAM software to create part files for product components
- Tool parts and compile NC code for laser cutting machines and turret punch presses
- Work with engineering team members to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines
- Advanced research and development with product and process improvement teams
- Process orders on tight timetables in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, templates and coded order entry forms
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and math skills
- Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent experience a must
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM engineering tools
- Hollow metal frame & door industry experience
- Track record of success in a team environment
- B.S. degree in Engineering preferred
