At Senneca we are looking for a talented Shipping Clerk to join our winning team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will responsible for a multitude of tasks that involve overseeing what goes out of our manufacturing facility. Specifically, you will need to keep detailed records, handle paperwork, packaging items, arranging pick-ups and use strong customer service for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent Ability to lift Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standing Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse Experience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferred Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance Flexible Work Hours

Responsibilities
- Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies
- Tasked with seeing packages through from start to finish and monitoring their progress throughout the journey.
- Accurately package, label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges
- Keep management and supervisors aware of product shortages to maintain accurate information on the company website
- Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to order and ensuring all goods are in acceptable condition
- Prepare detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensure all items are packaged and shipped to company standards
- Keeps the warehouse clean, neat & safe
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
