We are searching for experienced Production Personnel at our Redmond, OR facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Sets up and operates variety of machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate and assemble doors by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Bores holes for insertion of screws or dowels.
Glues, fits, and clamps parts and sub-assemblies together to form complete unit.
Drives nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints.
Sands and scrapes surfaces and joints of articles to prepare articles for finishing.
Installs hardware such as hinges.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
Track production on schedule boards.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production for which they have been trained.
Must be able to lift and carry 30-80 lbs on a regular basis throughout the workday.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Understand how errors in production, paperwork, etc. can impact the bottom line.
Work closely with other production personnel promoting a “can-do” attitude.
Work overtime as required when necessary.
Be a team player; maintain a professional and respectful relationship with all other employees.
