KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and identify potential suppliers to fulfill purchasing needs.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information.
- Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategies for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and changes in regulations.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years purchasing or similar experience preferred
- 1-2 years ERP experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft based skills
- Effective communicator, energetic, intelligent, professional maturity, problem solving skills, well organized, sound judgement, great attention to detail, strong work ethic.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers by phone and in person
- Ability to manage multiple functions at one time
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Handle petty cash as needed
- Touch type and 10 key with a high level of accuracy.
