The Quality Inspector role will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of harnesses and hardware to ensure compliance with internal, external, and industry specifications. Compensation parameters for this role are based on experience, with an hourly rate in the $23.50/hr - $40/hr range. In addition, we also offer equity participation and full benefits. This position is onsite and will be based at our company headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA.

Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspections of hardware against engineering drawings, industry specifications, and internal/external quality requirements.
- Conduct incoming inspections as required to support production timelines.
- Create and maintain inspection documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Inspection Reports, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality products from Senra's manufacturing team, supporting production, operations, and delivery targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA) for quality-related issues.
- Drive Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to closure, supporting disposition, approvals, and verification activities as required.
- Investigate, document, and resolve product and process issues, ensuring proper corrective actions are implemented and verified.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance product quality, reduce inefficiencies, and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Perform product testing on hardware as required to verify performance and quality.
- Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to meet production deadlines and operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Technical Degree in a related field preferred).
- 2 years of experience in quality inspection, production, or manufacturing roles
- Hands on experience inspection of harnesses to IPC-620 or NASA 8739.4 Class 3
- Familiarity with inspection techniques, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action processes (CAPA).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and industry specifications.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and non-conformance reporting (NCR) processes.
- Strong documentation skills, with experience in creating First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), Certificates of Conformance (CoC), and End Item Data Packages (EIDPs).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills,
- U.S citizen and must be able to perform this job in person
- Hands on experience inspecting aerospace or defense hardware
- IPC-620, IPC-610 and NASA-STD-8739.4 certified
- Previous experience working at a fast-paced, high-growth startup
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
- 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.
