Senra Systems is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supervisor of Inventory and Shipping / Receiving to oversee the management of inventory, shipping, and receiving processes within our factory. This position will play a key role in creating kits for work orders, maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring on-time shipping and receiving and establishing systems and processes to improve department efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of manufacturing operations, and a commitment to ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise a team of inventory, shipping, and receiving specialist, providing direction, support, and performance management.
- Oversee and manage the daily inventory levels for all materials and finished goods in the factory.
- Ensure accurate tracking of raw materials and parts through inventory systems, performing regular stock counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Implement processes for optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and reducing excess inventory.
- Supervise the receiving process, ensuring accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of materials and products.
- Manage outbound shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and ensure proper documentation and labeling.
- Create and assemble kits for work orders, ensuring all components are included for the production team to efficiently assemble wiring harnesses.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure kits are ready and available according to production schedules and priorities.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and other departments to understand and communicate daily and weekly priorities for inventory, shipping, and receiving.
- Ensure the team is aware of deadlines and production requirements to meet customer expectations and internal goals.
- Develop and implement systems, procedures, and processes for inventory management, shipping, and receiving to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Continuously evaluate and refine existing processes to reduce waste, improve workflow, and enhance overall department performance.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices, safety protocols, and the proper use of equipment and systems.
