Shift: Office (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

JOB SUMMARY:

A Social Media Content Creator at Sensapure not only has their finger on the pulse of the latest social media and content creation techniques and technologies – they are also dialed in on nutrition trends, functional food and beverages, food science, and health and wellness topic. You will be creating interesting content about new active ingredients, about new product launches, about trending flavors and active lifestyle influencers. You will work to turn around projects in days, not weeks, and make sure that your content is meeting the needs of each audience found on each unique platform.

If you are an “out-of-the-box creator,” who is passionate about health, wellness, nutrition, bio-hacking, nootropics, adaptogens, electrolytes, BCAAs, various protein sources, active lifestyle trends and LOVE learning about what is next is this industry…. ABOUT SENSAPURE FLAVORS:

Sensapure was born as the in-house flavor department of a large, national-brand nutraceutical manufacturing company. Sensapure Flavors serves the active lifestyle nutrition and supplement industry with exciting flavor technology and unmatched applications experience. As Utah’s only full-service flavor house, Sensapure provides flavor design and creation in our state-of-the-art Flavor Lab; food and beverage development through our Product and Applications Lab, data-focused sensory evaluation in our on-site Sensory Lab; and in-house production of hundreds of thousands of pounds of liquid, spray-dry encapsulated, and dry blend flavors every month.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Create various forms of social media content—text captions, videos, and images—suitable for the various social media platforms, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

2. Publish posts according to the established social media content calendar.

3. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach, and sales.

4. Ensure every piece of content you create aligns with our brand voice.

5. Researching and compiling nutrition, supplement, wellness, and flavor trends, product launches, competitors’ best-in-class examples, and cutting-edge executions to inform and propose new content.

6. Getting approval for content by creating storyboards, shot lists, and pre-production materials for both website content and social-first content.

7. Collaborating with the produce development, sales, and marketing teams to develop engaging content that resonates across platforms.

8. Capture and edit original video content and have a hand in all phases of video production from pre-to-post (filming, editing, color correction, sound design, etc.) for web, social, and training purposes.

9. Define and create branded style templates for new and existing social content for IG stories, etc.

10. Be the driver of new content ideas, oftentimes thinking ahead of the curve, steering trend curation and thumb-stopping content audiences want to rewatch, share, and continuously tune in.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

1-4 years’ experience in digital / social media marketing.

Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms—LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Interest in the world of nutrition, food science, wellness, functional food and beverage.

Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy.

Ability to work with creative tools like the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.

Ability to turn a concept into compelling content.

Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content.

Extensive knowledge of popular social media platforms.

Photography, videography, editing or creative content skills.

A strong visual mindset and understanding of the wider landscape of beauty video.

Strong communication skills and ability to take creative direction and bring it to life through video editing.

Strong understanding of frame composition (lighting, angles, negative space, photo clarity/depth of frame).

Strong understanding of studio tools such as ring lights, tripods, props, backdrops, etc.

Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to clearly articulate and document technical processes and issues.

Exceptional time-management and multi-tasking abilities.

Expertise in tools and processes for creative assets and content workflows.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works in an office environment. Seldom exposure to fumes, dust, or other airborne particles and exposure to allergens such as milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position is almost constantly sitting, talking, hearing/listening, and standing. Seldom standing, walking, bending/stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
