The Applications Engineer is responsible for technical sales support within Dynapower's Clean Energy business unit. They share their technical expertise both directly during customer meetings and generally as support for the frontline sales team. Their primary focus is viewing projects from a variety of technical perspectives to help customers and team members understand the optimal design.General ResponsibilitiesOrganizes technical sales support to assure successful customer integration d organization productsPre-sales activities include gaining understanding of customer's business and analysis of customer's system and product needsKey participant in the preparation and presentation of technical proposals of how organization's products can meet those needs and be integrated and implemented with customer's systems and equipmentCollaborates on the preparation and presentation of customer systems / equipment needs plan to organization teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time, and environment constraintsExperience / QualificationsA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experienceMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentationStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve resultsStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrityHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standardsProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and / or external customersAdditional ExperienceBachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldExperience in engineering and / or technical project managementExperience in power electronics, power system software, energy trading and / or hydrogen energy systems#LI-JL1 #LI-RemoteBase Salary Range : $80,884.00 - $111,215.50At Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.
