Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other heavy equipment to move and stack materials
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and shipping of products
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Assist in general warehouse duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Proficiency in operating reach trucks, forklifts, order pickers, and other heavy equipment
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting is a plus
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory effectively
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting or prolonged standing
