Join the care team for a gentleman with a spinal cord injury.
The ideal candidate is a dependable and self-motivated LNA/CNA/HHA who possesses a genuine interest in working with people with disabilities. The education gained in this Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) case will prove beneficial for careers in nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Students in the above disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities and Duties
The gentleman is self-directing and will educate you about SCI and train you in his unique daily care regimen. His daily health care needs are not complex, but require training. Some responsibilities include:
- Personal care and ADLs to include dressing, hygiene, Hoyer transfers, light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.
- Rehabilitation assistance to include use of prescribed exercise equipment.
- Driving adaptive mini van.
Requirements
- Must have good communication skills in English.
- Valid drivers license (with clean driving record).
- Evidence of identity and employment eligibility.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- No physical restrictions to perform required tasks.

Available shifts:
6-24 hours/ week
Other shifts may also be available depending on team availability. Cloud-based scheduling allows employees to set their availability and request additional open shifts.
